Imperva Appoints Jason Burn as New Regional Sales Director for the Pacific

Sydney, Aust., October 8, 2013 – Imperva, Inc. (NYSE: IMPV), pioneering the third pillar of enterprise security with a new layer of protection designed specifically for physical and virtual data centers, today announced the appointment of Jason Burn to the position of Regional Sales Director for the Pacific. Burn is responsible for strategic account development, business growth, and channel-based sales programmes. He reports to Stree Naidu, Imperva vice president, Asia Pacific & Japan.

Burn joins Imperva following a15-year career in senior management roles primarily in the Information Security sector. His most recent position was with IBM’s Security Solutions Division where he was instrumental in the establishment and development of a new Software Division, channel partner programme, and bottom line accountability for security product and services sales in Australia and New Zealand. In his role at Imperva, Burn will oversee the Pacific team and its partner network to further implement Imperva’s data center security solutions and to help maintain its growth in the region. Burn takes on this role with the appointment and promotion of the previous Regional Sales Director, Kane Lightowler to the newly created role of Director of Strategic Accounts – Asia Pacific and Japan. Lightowler is now based in Singapore.

In addition, Steve McDonald was appointed Regional Sales Manager for the Southern Region – based in the company’s Melbourne office. A high performance sales professional with almost two decades of specialist Information Security expertise, Steve recently worked as Sales Manager with HP Enterprise Products.  Steve will report directly to Jason Burn.
