Lumidigm Fingerprint Readers Now Available with Certified Connection to SAP®

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – October 29, 2012 – Lumidigm today announced that its industry-leading fingerprint readers are now supported by bioLock™ software from realtime North America Inc. The only biometric system certified by SAP®, the bioLock software solution, with Lumidigm biometrics, will be demonstrated at SAPHILA 2012, the largest customer-run SAP show in South Africa, in Sun City from October 28-30 at the Linx/AS Tech Pods 9 & 10.

The bioLock software solution from realtime helps manage the identities of SAP users with biometrics and prevents insider fraud in areas such as inventory shrinkage, payroll, financial fraud or data loss. It can be used both with readers in desktop USB versions or in kiosk applications. The bioLock system manages not just the log-on, but can also enable re-authentication at granular levels within an SAP system to achieve real compliance and fraud prevention.
