Proofpoint Makes its Mark with New VP

Proofpoint has appointed Mark Ablett to lead the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region as Senior Vice President.

In his new role, Mark will assume a pivotal role within the global sales organisation and lead the company’s growth strategy across the APJ theatre, based out of Melbourne, Australia.

Mark has more than 30 years of sales experience overseeing all aspects of business management including the planning and execution of an organisation’s strategy and growth.

Mark joins Proofpoint from Hitachi Vantara where he spent almost nine years in various senior leadership roles, with his most recent role at Hitachi Vantara being President of Digital Infrastructure.

Prior to that, Mark held senior sales leadership positions at Juniper Networks.
