Rapid7 has appointed Anita Moorhouse as Partner Director, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

Moorhouse’s appointment marks the first time an APJ partner director has been physically located in-region for Rapid7, underscoring the company’s deepening commitment to partnerships as a focal point of its future success.

Combined with her already strong in-region relationships and extensive professional background, this proximity promises to make a significant, positive impact on the company’s channel partnerships.

“We are delighted to welcome Anita, who brings a wealth of energy, knowledge, and experience to Rapid7,” said Alex Page, Vice President of Global Channel and Emerging Technology Sales at Rapid7. “Anita’s leadership will be instrumental in reinforcing and expanding our partner strategy and operations across the APJ region.

“Anita has a proven track record in building high-performing partner ecosystems — at significant scale — and she will further enhance Rapid7’s position and presence with our partners,” added Page.

Commenting on her appointment, Moorhouse said, “I have enjoyed more than three decades in the technology sector and am relishing the opportunity of a new challenge in the strategically significant field of cyber security.

“I am passionate about the channel and look forward to collaborating with our partners for mutual success as we deliver industry-leading, best in-class technologies and services alongside noteworthy research and strategic expertise to end customers,” she said.

Moorhouse joins Rapid7 from Qualtrics, where she was Head of Partner Ecosystem, ANZ. Prior roles include Senior Sales Leader, Partner Sales at Google Cloud, Head of General Business and Distribution, ANZ at VMWare, and Partner Sales Lead at Microsoft Australia.

“With such a diverse and successful background, Anita will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the Rapid7 team here in Melbourne and throughout the greater APJ region,” said Rob Dooley, Vice President, APJ, Rapid7. “We have experienced steady growth over the last few years and expect to see momentum increase in 2023 and beyond.”
