Hills Limited has sharpened its focus on the growing New Zealand market with three key management appointments.

The high-quality appointments reflect Hills’ decision to streamline the company by divesting non-core operations and focusing on those businesses with the greatest growth potential in Australia and New Zealand – Hills Health and a Distribution business centred on Security, IT and Technical Services.

Hills is pleased to announced that Michael Collins, who has been General Manager of the New Zealand business for the past year, will move into the newly created role of Strategic Solutions Consultant, where he will drive business partner alliances, market development and the planning and execution of strategies to grow the New Zealand business.

Hills is delighted that Trish Snegirev will become the new General Manager New Zealand, replacing Michael. Trish, who joins Hills from New Zealand Medical & Scientific Limited, has more than 18 years’ experience in strategic management, sales and procurement, with a particular focus on working with international suppliers on product and inventory management.

Trish will build on the groundwork established by Michael to bring a customer-first mentality to the New Zealand business. She will commence her role at Hills on 28 January 2020.

Peter Baily has been appointed branch manager of Hills’ operations in Wellington. Peter has more than 25 years’ experience in the security industry and most recently worked for Advanced Security in business development. He will commence his role at Hills on 23 January 2020.

Michael will continue to work closely with the New Zealand team, and will assist the new General Manager transition into the role.

Hills Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director David Lenz said he was excited about the investment being made by Hills in the New Zealand market and the calibre of the team being assembled.

“With our new streamlined structure – and a commitment to delivering the best service for customers and best opportunities for employees – we will continue to recruit and attract the highest quality people to help us grow the New Zealand market,” he said.
