Singapore Airshow 2026 has concluded as a landmark 10th edition, marking two decades of bringing together the global aviation, defence and space communities at the Changi Exhibition Centre.
Widely regarded as Asia-Pacific’s premier aerospace and defence event, the milestone edition celebrated the evolution of the airshow from its early beginnings into a major international platform for capability showcase, industry engagement and public outreach.
Public engagement was a standout feature, with the Weekend@Airshow drawing around 60,000 visitors across two days. Aviation enthusiasts and families experienced a full program of aerial displays, close-up aircraft access and interactive activities designed to showcase the excitement and innovation of flight.
The flying display program delivered eight high-energy performances featuring six international air forces and two commercial aircraft manufacturers. Spectators were treated to displays from the Republic of Singapore Air Force Aerial Display Team, the Indian Air Force Sarang Helicopter Display Team, the Indonesian Air Force Jupiter Aerobatic Team, the People’s Liberation Army Air Force Bayi Aerobatic Team, the Royal Australian Air Force and the Royal Malaysian Air Force. Airbus and the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China also demonstrated commercial aviation capability, combining precision flying with visual spectacle.
On the ground, the static aircraft display offered visitors the opportunity to explore more than 30 aircraft from military and commercial operators. Highlights included the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s Sikorsky S-70B Seahawk naval helicopter, H225M medium lift helicopter and F-16C fighter, alongside the Luftwaffe’s Airbus A400M and the F-35A operated by both the Royal Australian Air Force and the United States Air Force. Many aircraft were open for interior tours, providing an immersive look at current-generation aviation technology.
Interactive experiences added a strong family-friendly dimension to the event. Visitors took part in pilot meet-and-greets, autograph sessions and mascot appearances featuring Singapore Airshow favourites Leo and Leonette alongside RSAF’s Captain Ted. Hands-on cockpit sessions allowed aspiring aviators to sit in the pilot’s seat, while aviation-themed arts and crafts activities engaged younger audiences. Demonstrations of emerging aerospace technologies offered a glimpse into the future of flight.
As the Singapore Airshow marks its 10th edition, the event has reinforced its position as a central meeting point for industry, government and the public. For the Asia-Pacific region, the milestone edition underscored the airshow’s ongoing role in showcasing capability, strengthening partnerships and inspiring the next generation of aviation and aerospace professionals.
