Identity security company Semperis has appointed Gerry Sillars as its Asia-Pacific and Japan vice president.
Based in Singapore, Sillars will lead the company’s growth strategy across the region. In 2024, Semperis experienced triple-digit revenue and pipeline to facilitate its rapid expansion across Asia-Pacific and Japan.
Semperis has signed distribution agreements across major Southeast Asian countries, India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, effectively growing partnerships by over 100%.
Sillars has over 20 years of experience building and scaling software businesses in Asia-Pacific and Japan. Before joining Semperis, he held vice president roles at Commvault Systems, Alcatel Lucent, UpGuard, and Fortanix.
“My transition several months ago to leading Semperis’ regional expansion in Asia Pacific has come at a pivotal moment,” said Sillars. “Identity-driven security has emerged as one of the most critical priorities for organisations in this region, so the timing couldn’t have been better.”
Semperis recently reached a significant milestone in its rapid growth trajectory, surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue, an achievement that fewer than one in every 1,000 enterprise software companies attain.
