WatchGuard Technologies Appoints Vice President Sales Asia Pacific & Japan

Sylvain Lejeune to lead the company’s sales and go-to-market growth strategy

WatchGuard Technologies has appointed Sylvain Lejeune as Vice President Sales Asia Pacific & Japan.

Based in Singapore, Lejeune will be responsible for leading WatchGuard Technologies’ sales growth and business expansion across the region while overseeing all aspects of management, including channel partner development, distribution strategy and revenue growth.

Lejeune joins WatchGuard Technologies with more than 20 years of sales and executive leadership experience in the IT industry.  He previously worked at IBM where he was Service Line and Sales Leader for the company’s hybrid cloud business across the ASEAN region.  During this time, he lead a regional practice of sales, solution architects and consultants, while supporting customers across a range of vertical markets, including financial services, public sector, healthcare, communications, distribution and manufacturing.

Prior, he was Vice President Sales, Asia Pacific China & Japan at cyber security company, CYREN, where he was instrumental in meeting regional revenue across Singapore, India and China.

Lejeune’s career has also included successful Asia Pacific regional sales roles at i20, InfoVista, Actix and Telarix.  He commenced his career as Regional Sales Manager for Ericsson based in Sweden.
